This article provides student perspectives on what they think is functional in an FSL classroom. It includes interviews from students from a grade 8 Core French classroom in Ontario and sheds light on how the deliverance of lessons by their teacher intrigues their learning interests. Lastly, it focuses on the use of the French and English language within the classroom and the consequences it has with switching between the two languages.
